    Netherlands Hub: Logistics Manager

    Fortescue Future Industries is in the process of developing a global portfolio of renewable energy and green hydrogen mega-projects. Our large scale, low-cost hydropower, geothermal, solar and wind assets will revolutionise the energy industry and support establishment of green energy and green product industries around the world.

    Moving to the next stage of the development of this portfolio, FFI is now looking to engage some UK / Europe based experienced study and project professionals to undertake some of these worldwide opportunities. Representatives of FFI will be travelling to the UK / Europe in Quarter 1 2022 to undertake interviews with candidates. These positions will be based in either a UK north west major metropolitan city or the Netherlands.

    Netherlands Hub: Logistics Manager

    Location: These positions will be based in either the Netherlands or a UK north west major metropolitan city.

    Joining FFI through an exciting time of growth and the development of our new America’s Hub, we are seeking an experienced and self motivated Logistics Manager.

    Tasked with managing and overseeing the effective, well-thought out and efficient running of the Logistics function in line with FFI’s agile and moving business requirements.

    To be successful in your application, you must be able to satisfy the following requirements:

    • Minimum 5 years’ experience associated with renewable energy, specifically managing full oversight of planning, transport studies and through to freight and traffic modelling.
    • In-depth knowledge of the movement and transport of wind turbine components, PV solar panels and tracking equipment, prefabricated substations, including oversized modules and plant.
    • Candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of marine and road transport methodologies, transport legislation, permitting and regulatory requirements within the USA, additionally experience with Canada and South America would be advantageous.

    Candidates must be able to bring a flexible mindset, challenge traditional thinking, and be prepared to work outside of their comfort zone.
