    Negotiation Assistent

    This will be your workplace

    Start date: in consideration with candidate, but preferably as soon as possible. Contract: starting with a one year contract with the intention of transforming this into a permanent contract after the first year. Weekly working hours: 40 hours Work location is Arnhem. Large Projects Offshore Based on the Energie-akkoord, where the targets and intentions for the transition to a more renewable energy supply are set, the Roadmap Offshore wind energy 2030 and the ambition to realise additional windcapacity prior to 2030 a roll-out strategy is being prepared for the medium term, including the IJmuiden Ver (DC) projects. This results in a commitment for TenneT to realise at least 2x (with potential up to 5) 2GW HVDC Grid Connection Systems which bring the power from offshore wind-farms in the North sea to the Dutch electricity grid to be commissioned between 2028 - 2030.

    Your contribution to TenneT

    Main responsibilities include:

    • Organization and administration of contract negotiations for very large infrastructure projects
    • Maintaining Q&A sessions, logs and ensuring a propose administrative handling of questions, changes to documents.
    • Maintain an overview of the tender documents
    • Support and back-up for the tender lead and part of tender steering team
    • Work for both the cable and land station tenders
    • Filing of contract and negotiation documents on the project electronic document system according to project-specific specifications
    • Distribution of documents in the negotiation team and collection and consolidation of results
    • Keeping minutes of negotiations in English
    • Organization and preliminary examination of the associated infrastructure on site (WLAN, projector, sockets, possibly video conference systems, etc.)
    • Central contact person for organizational issues during the negotiation phase
    • Support and introduction of the bidders on the negotiation days (e.g. explanation of escape routes and further briefing about the location)
    • Preparation and follow-up of the negotiation documents for various areas
    • Organizational support during contract signing (printing, checking for completeness of contract documents, booking of rooms)
    • Active contribution to a safe working environment for yourself, colleagues and external contractors

    Your Profile and background

    • Successfully completed commercial or comparable education and ideally professional experience in office management
    • Very good written and spoken English and Dutch skills
    • Good MicroSoft Office skills
    • Competences: good planner/organiser; quality oriented; independent, discipline, reliable, organisation sensitive and goal-oriented way of working
    • Distinguished by a positive attitude, high reliability, flexibility, emphaty and very good communication skills
    • Ability to work in a team
    • Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing, as well as in one further language, preferably Dutch
