In line with our continuous growth, Applied Medical Europe is looking for a fulltime multitasking and creative Multimedia Designer/Editor to join our expanding team.
The role entails developing and maintaining video and photo assets from our headquarters in Europe (Amersfoort, the Netherlands). In this diverse role, you will be responsible for the coordination and creation of videos and photos to be used on various channels such as our company's website, YouTube channel and presentations for internal audiences. You will also ensure a consistent brand image following our existing brand visual guide across all communication tools.
As a Multimedia Designer/Editor, you will have regular contact with various internal departments across Europe and in the U.S. -our main headquarters-. This involves occasional trips within Europe for on-location shoots when possible and needed. In this role, you will report to the Manager Branding & Community Relations.
Within Applied Medical this position has the internal job title of Multimedia Editor.
Act as a photographer and videographer while maintaining and developing our visual library of photos and videos.
Set up and operate audio and video equipment for multiple internal and external events.
Setup photoshoot schedules, recruiting volunteers, facilitating styling and preparation for all shoots.
Work with various internal stakeholders and external partners.
Communicate with different audio and video external companies in preparation for trade shows and symposiums.
Ensure consistent brand image, integrity and visual guide across all communication tools.
Organize and collaborate with internal requestors when putting deadlines to ensure they are met.
Advise on concepts when necessary.
Bachelor's degree or three years of experience in the multimedia field.
Proficiency with PC/MAC platform and Adobe Creative Suite.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Proficiency in creating and managing scripts, video shoots and overall video production, from start to finish.
Excellent problem solving, organizational and time management skills.
Ability to travel to events (Europe) and work flexible hours.
Experience with Premiere, Audition and After Effects is preferred.
Valid working permit in the Netherlands.
