    Medior Credit Analyst

As Medior Credit Analyst Energy Transition & Circularity (ET&C), you are responsible for a portfolio of clients and actively involved in analysing and structuring financing transactions for our clients through a balanced risk/return approach.You can make a difference by identifying the key risks factors in a transaction, managing the credit risk approval process and act as sparring partner for both relationship managers and clients. As Medior Credit Analyst you will be client facing and have your own client portfolio together with the CL Relationship Manager. You are involved in high visible transactions (acquisitions, investments, refinancings) with impact on sustainability.

    Making a difference

    • Conducting thorough risk assessments of proposed (debt) structures.
    • Advising on finance proposals for a portfolio of clients in the Banking 4 Energy transition (client segment turnover > EUR 250m).
    • Preparing high quality credit reports and pro-actively monitoring and reporting on the clients in your own portfolio.
    • Sharing knowledge with colleagues and together act as a centre of competence for credit risk tools and models to a wider audience within the bank.
    • Acting as a sparring partner for relationship managers and other credit analysts in order to deliver the best possible service to our clients and to Grow A Better World Together.

Our Core Lending team brings talented people together to be involved with both client interaction (external) and risk approval (internal), whilst coordinating with client coverage and other key stakeholders such as Loan Syndications, Value Chain Finance, Financial Advisory & Solutions, Risk, Legal and Compliance. With you as a Credit Analyst, the team will consist of 14 diverse colleagues in a variety of roles, including:

    Core Lending Europe & Africa (E&A) is providing Corporate Lending, Leveraged Lending and Export Finance propositions to our E&A wholesale clients. Corporate Lending covers around 400 credit relationships in the Netherlands, through four client teams clustered around specific sectors. Our team, Energy Transition & Circularity (ET&C), focusses on the Banking 4 Energy transition (B4E) with clients active in the Energy Transition sector in the Netherlands and Europe. B4E has become a new strategic pillar within the E&A wholesale strategy. The energy transition represents a huge growth opportunity with lots of potential for Core Lending

In addition, you solve complex problems as circumstances change. Together with this, you provide high-quality customer service and check that the work you are providing matches the customer’s needs so that you can develop the customer relationship. It's exactly these characteristics that make you a good Medior Credit Analyst, particularly in combination with:

    • Master’s degree;
    • ample experience in analysing business risks, financial data and assessing credit and (structure) risks;
    • experience with banking products;
    • good communication skills in general, and excellent command of English (verbally and in writing).

    • a gross monthly salary between € 4,188.60 and € 5,982.38;

    • a personal budget that you can spend on activities related to your personal development and career;

    • a pension scheme, to which your contribution is only 3,5%.
