Purpose of the position
Provide high-quality medical information service to in- and external customers. Provide Medical insight and support to Teva products.
Contribute to operational effectiveness and medical governance by defining and managing touch points with other functional areas of Teva such as Regulatory, QA, Drug Safety, MI, S&M and Compliance
Provide high-quality Medical Information to external customers (Health Care professionals and patients) and internal customers, including those from other cluster countries
Contribute to Medical Operational Effectiveness by setting up processes and SOPs and be the superuser on related systems.
Provide scientific support and training to Teva’s products: work closely with commercial colleagues, review promotional material, provide training to ensure medical governance
Collaboration with Teva Colleagues
In principle, work with all Teva colleagues to ensure medical governance and operational effectiveness, but especially work with Medical Affairs colleagues, commercial, Customer Service, Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacovigilance and Quality Assurance in the establishment and adherance to appropriate processes and procedures as well as providing operational support
Engagement with a variety of external customers in relation to Medical Affairs in a service minded & quality focused way
Answer medical scientific questions from Health care professionals, patients, consumers as well as internal customers on Teva’s total product portfolio and other products where Teva is contractually obliged to provide Medical Information.
Support other cluster countries with Medical Information activities
Act as first-receiver for unsollicited Adverse Events according to Teva’s policies, hereby cooperating with Pharmacovigilance
Support and manage projects on behalf of Medical Affairs colleagues, such as those related to literature searches and training.
Be the super-user of Medical Affairs systems, such as Zinc and AgInq
Participate in the set up of processes to ensure operational effectiveness
Implementing and training in Standard Operation Procedures and processes including appropriate documentation practices
Contribute to continuous audit readiness
Work closely with commercial colleagues to provide expert medical/scientific input to support GGM and OTC products
Conduct medical review of promotional material
Conduct medical review of FCPA requests
Participate in general Teva NL projects that require medical affairs input.
Develop metrics (statistics and analytics) to understand quality, output and resource utilization
Building an internal environment of appreciation and understanding of the importance of working in alignment with Medical Governance
Provide internal training on Medical Governance or disease/product specific topics
Staying abreast of changes in medical and compliance standards and requirements, externally as well as internally
Pharmacist or related Msc.
Customer-focussed and service-minded
Well-organised , flexible and proactive attitude
Knowledge of NL promotional codes for medicins, medical devices and health care products (CGR and KOAG/KAG).
Knowledge of Medical Governance and related SOPs
Fluent in Dutch and English
Proficient in MS Office package
