Join Sanofi as Medical Advisor Rare Diseases in The Netherlands . With your therapeutic knowledge and sound project management skills, you will contribute to the successful development and roll-out of the medical strategy and other key medical affairs initiatives in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. In addition, you will be involved in the preparation of market access for end-stage pipeline products. You will join a high performing, energetic team, where you have many opportunities to contribute to optimize the care for patients. The focus within Rare Diseases will be on nephrology, pulmonology and peadiatricians.
Be a strong and proactive partner to the local Commercial, Market Access, Regulatory, Pharmacovigilance and Public Affairs, and provide continuous medical advice and training
Drive development and execution of local Medical Affairs plan as well as other key medical initiatives in alignment with the Rare Disease North Europe medical strategy
Conduct internal and external education to enhance disease awareness and innovative diagnostic awareness
Interpretation of new scientific data, competitive trends and product opportunities and adjust medical and educational activities accordingly
Support local market access medical alignment and new indication launch preparation, including Medical Need Programs
Drive, coordinate, support and ensure regular follow up of medical -, investigator initiated - and other research projects
Maintain and develop strong relationships with current and future Key Opinion Leaders, mainly in the field of nephrology, pulmonology and peadiatricians
At least Master level degree in medicine or other life science
Pharmaceutical industry experience (2+ years) and knowledge of relevant therapeutic areas is an asset
Preferably a network in pulmonology and/or nephrology
Excellent project management skills
Strategic mind-set whilst being target-oriented and results-driven, with an understanding of short and long term goals
Experience in interpretation and dissemination of scientific and clinical data, excellent communication and presentation skills
Experience in communication with medical authorities, hospitals, physicians /specialists and KOLs as well as other healthcare sector professionals
Ability to coordinate, manage and prioritize workload in a busy professional environment
Business proficiency in Dutch and English
