    The position

    As part of the Supply Chain team the Master Planner runs ViCentra’s end-to-end supply chain planning, supports the Commercial team on development of the constrained demand plan and works with Engineering, Production and Procurement to develop realistic supply plans which are incorporated in the aggregate supply plan. The Master Planner is a key driver of the Sales & Operations Planning process.

    Main Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Maintains the aggregate supply chain plan and its input and outputs. Develops realistic and feasible supply plans which contribute to stable production and purchasing plans and realistic inventory plans.
    • Works with commercial team to collect user onboarding plans, set inventory levels at distributors and support the development of the (constrained) demand plan.
    • Maintains ViCentra warehouse safety stock targets at finished good levels to ensure agreed service levels to ViCentra’s distributors and users.
    • Facilitates the S&OP Cycle by hosting Demand review and Supply Review.
    • Liaises with internal stakeholders to collect non-user related demand for product studies and training events.
    • Provides production plan input for in house manufactured product to the production team.
    • Works closely with the Procurement team to align the aggregate supply plan with the purchasing plans.
    • Works closely with the Production, Procurement and Engineering team to collect demonstrated capacities and integrate capacity expansion plans in the aggregate supply plan.
    • Supports production in the development of the Production Schedule for components manufactured in-house.
    • Runs simulations of launch plan expansions and required capacity increases to facilitate investment or business planning with the finance team.
    • Runs simulations of warehouse and space capacity requirements in support of the Warehouse and Logistics team.
    • Focus on 0-6 month planning horizon as well as 7-36 month planning horizon
    • Drives continuous improvement of the supply chain planning toolset and contributes to the setup and incorporation into standard software solutions such as ERP.

    The ideal candidate to join our team should have:

    • Bachelor/Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering or equivalent
    • 7+ years’ experience in supply chain planning in a supply chain network with internal and external production capacity and multiple distribution channels
    • Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)
    • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and understanding of data analytics tools such as MS Power BI
    • Excellent knowledge of ERP and understanding of Advanced Planning tools

    It’s a bonus if you also have:

    • Experience in Medical Device industry
    • Experience in a scale up environment
    • APICS CPIM or CSCP is a plus
    • Experience with Tableau or other data visualization tools
