    Marketing & Communications Assistant

    As our Marketing and Communications Assistant, you are an aspiring writer who loves working for a mission-driven organisation. You are eager to assist and contribute to all of the EAIE’s activities, from events for 6000 people, to email campaigns and publications. You will become the backbone of support for the team while contributing new ideas to make our materials and communications professional and engaging. You thrive in an agile and international environment, and feel comfortable working independently when needed.


    Responsibilities

    • Assist in generating buzz and website traffic by contributing to the EAIE’s communication and marketing materials
    • Assist with updates to the EAIE’s website, blog, social media, podcast and publications
    • Coordinate the set up and creation of targeted e-mail marketing
    • Collaborate with the team on new ideas, projects, and tools for marketing, membership and communications

    Must-haves

    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations or related field
    • One to three years of experience in a similar position
    • Native or near-native English speaker with excellent writing skills in English
    • A firm grasp of writing techniques and styles across different platforms
    • Experience working with content management systems and e-mail marketing software
    • Affinity for the (international) higher education sector
    • Already based in the Amsterdam area with a possession of a valid work permit

    • Competitive salary: starting salary of €2300 to €2600 gross per month, depending on education/work experience, based on 37.5 hours per week. This role is for 5 days a week with an initial contract of 9 months.
