Marketing and Communications Officer
Location: Amsterdam Central Station
37.5 hours per week
As our newest Marketing and Communications Officer, you will be responsible for campaigns that promote our tools and services to our membership of over 20,000 network operators across Europe, the Middle East and parts of Central Asia. Internally, you will work across the organisation to ensure we’re all aligned on key messages and help with the roll-out of new projects.
In this role you will:
Support multiple teams across the organisation on a wide range of projects
Create digital content for social media and our website (articles, podcasts, videos)
Develop and manage digital marketing campaigns
Contribute to the development of marketing and communications strategy
Research and analyse market trends, demographics and other information to inform promotional strategies
Provide marketing support to our Meeting Team who organise large-scale industry conferences at home and abroad
Write, edit and proof different texts (technical and organisational documentation, web content, newsletters, announcements, press releases, etc.)
What we expect from you:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with at least three years’ experience in marketing and communications
Experience developing marketing/branding and communications plans and putting them into practice
Up-to-date social media expertise (primarily LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube)
Proficiency at creating high-quality digital content
Strong writing skills
Experience running digital advertising and email marketing campaigns
Competencies: strong communication and interpersonal skills, proactive, team-player, flexible
Native or near-native English speaker
It would be nice if you also have:
Previous experience working in an international environment
An ability to quickly grasp complex technical and political issues (note: a technical background is not required)
Experience creating a podcast or YouTube series
A proven ability to be an innovative and creative problem solver

An annual salary between EUR 44.000 and EUR 60.000 (before tax) for a full-time week (37,5 hours per week). This includes the standard 8% annual “holiday pay” and a 5% end-of-year bonus.
