    Manager Supplier Quality Management

    In this role you are responsible for the continuous development and roll-out of a professional Supplier Quality Management program with relevant stakeholders (procurement, supply chain, QA) to ensure a consistent quality performance improvement at suppliers and external manufacturers.

    Vacancy description

    You lead the (corporate) Supplier Quality Management team to ensure a professional and effective global SQM process, thereby safeguarding Food safety and quality capabilities of suppliers.

    1. Develop and execute SQM strategy
    • Design and improve a professional and sustainable SQM approach, aligned with requirements of governments, customers, third party certification, stakeholders within FrieslandCampina and the fitting within the Corporate Food Safety & Quality framework.
    • Align the SQM strategy with procurement management and other relevant stakeholders secure approval and continuous buy in, across BG’s and across various management levels.
    • Contribute to the overall FrieslandCampina QA strategy and the execution thereof.

    2. Lead and guide the Corporate SQM team and the extended SQM team (with representatives of all Business groups), ensure correct execution of the SQM strategy
    • Maintain stakeholder network, liaise actively with Procurement, BG Supply Chain, R&D and BG SQM/QA.

    3. Define and implement work program SQM
    • Define and implement the overall program for SQM, fully risk-based and performance-based. Define clear KPIs and monitor progress on these KPIs. Initiate and coordinate improvement projects and report performance and project progress to relevant stakeholders within Procurement and Supply Chain.

    4. Ensure professional administration and database management of all Supplier Quality Management related data in the Corporate tool (Safefood 360°)

    5. Link SQM optimally to the needs of the stakeholders
    • Ensure pro-active alignment with MT level of procurement organization (category leads), R&D, QA and Supply Chain, initiate and maintain alignment.
    • Actively support correct specification management (from material spec to supplier spec) and robust change management, initiate and coordinate projects when relevant.
    • Initiate and support relevant cross opco/BG improvement projects.

    6. Take relevant responsibility for crisis management:
    • Coordinate crisis management when relevant .
    • Promote development and maintenance of relevant databases and systems to support effective crisis management.
