Together with your team (8 employees) you will be responsible for a smooth flow of goods. Distribution of goods is done via one or multiple modalities such as truck (palletized), barge, ocean, air and bulk trucks.

What we ask:
- Master Degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management;
- 6-8 years’ experience in Logistics management;
- Experience with international distribution;
- Good influencing skills;
- Capable to build a true relation of trust with both commercial and supply chain business partners;
- Well-developed analytical skills;
- Clear decision making capabilities & result oriented;
- Fluency in English;
- Open minded/ willingness to collaborate in the value chain;
- Willingness to travel to the production and Warehouse locations in- and outside the Netherlands.
What we offer
You will be working in a team of professionals who as a team are responsible for the entire order-to-cash process of FC Ingredients.
In this role you are expected to always participate and voice your opinion, being a leader and team-player at the same time.
What will you be doing:
- Drive costs/mT as low as possible at the required safety & quality level;
- Develop and ensure execution of the Warehouse & Transport strategy in line with the Business Group Ingredients strategy;
- Optimize the distribution network;
- Responsible for optimal operation of the different warehousing and distribution locations;
- Ensure a continuous improvement process and culture;
- Initiate, set targets and lead improvement projects;
- Analyze logistical (work)processes from supply point to customer, evaluate bottlenecks and identify opportunities.
- Optimization of Third Party Logistics (3PL) providers and efficient work across Business Groups;
- Responsible to ensure safety and compliance in the Warehouse & Transport area. Ensure that operating within legal rules and regulations;
- Responsible for monitoring and follow up on service level agreements and complaint management;
- Negotiate with external suppliers based on defined specifications, SLA’s and check compliance with (framework) contracts/SLA’s, in cooperation with procurement;
- Align and communicate constructively with the internal and external business partners;
- Participate and implement projects across Business Groups within the deliver domain;
