Due to the business acceleration, we are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join our Rotterdam office. In this position, you will work closely with the Management team and be responsible for advising the firm on how to increase profit through prudent financial practices and monitoring and enforcing compliance with finance-related laws, procedures and regulations such as tax filing and financial reporting. As a department lead, you will also mentor your team members and nourish the Finance department. Besides, you are able to act as a key stakeholder to helicopter-view the financial health of our office in China.
The goal of this position is to enable the management team to make sound business decisions and meet the company's objectives. To be successful in this role, it is important that you quickly feel at home in a new environment and easily establish contacts with internal and external key stakeholders.
BS/MA degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics, Minor or Double Major in Statistics / Business Analytics / MIS highly preferred;
A minimum of 5 years experience as a financial/business controller with progressive career growth or in a similar role;
Experience in the financial sector with previous possible roles such as financial analyst;
Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns;
Knowledge of tax reduction is a plus;
Proficient user of finance software;
Excellent command of both Chinese and English (spoken and written); working proficiency in Dutch is highly desirable;
Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills;
Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used;
A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles;
Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations in the Netherlands;
Professional qualification such as CFA/CPA/Business Controller or similar will be considered a plus;

Making actionable recommendations on both strategy and operations;
Keep up on the latest regulation changes regarding tax;
Oversee long-term budgetary planning and costs management in alignment with strategic plan;
Oversee the finance of our Chinese companies;
