    We have a vacancy for a temporary position as Management Office Assistant in the department of Global Economics and Management at the Faculty of Economics and Business.

    Who you are

    • Completed HAVO with, preferably, a secretary education or completed education at MBO secretary level 4
    • Relevant work experience
    • Adept oral and writing skills in Dutch and English
    • Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint, familiar with ICT, and experience with other MS Office programs
    • Employable in the digital environment and able to provide support for online educational processes
    • Capable of working both independently and within a team
    • Flexible and proactive attitude

    What will you do

    • Execution of (administrative) support activities for education and research as well as processing information in Nestor, ProgRESS WWW, and Ocasys
    • Information: act as the first point of contact for questions from staff, students, and external guests and answer questions or refer to the appropriate person
    • Taking minutes in English at various meetings
    • Processing business correspondence
    • Telephone and email traffic
    • Agenda management: planning, scheduling, and coordinating appointments
    • Archiving: digitally documenting and archiving information

    Where will you work

    The Department of Global Economics & Management consists of approximately 80 employees. Within the department, education is provided for the Bachelor Economics & Business Economics, the Bachelor International Business, the Master International Business & Management, and the Master Economic Development & Growth.
    You will be part of a professional, collegial, and committed team. Together with three other fellow secretaries, you will take responsibility for the secretarial support of the department. All communication within the department is in English. The Secretary Level is dependent upon the level of secretarial skills.

    Because all communication within the department is in English we expect that the written material for your application is also in English.
