Main Duties

As a Maintenance Technician you will be taking care of ad-hoc tasks and providing ongoing maintenance support to the building. In this role you will have the possibility to grow and develop to a supervisor role.

• Making sure that all areas and facilities of the house are up to the highest maintenance status
• Performing painting and repairing of walls, furniture, cabinets, windows, locks and keys
• Performing electrical and mechanical repairs
• Performing repairs on fans and air conditioning
• Performing routine plumbing repairs
• Performing carpentry work
• Documenting work accomplished and closely liaising with the Maintenance Manager on projects
• Being aware and observing safety precautions and fire safety procedures and emergency action plans

What we are looking for

• Must have previous experience in maintenance preferably in hotels
• Must have experience in volume and high pressure operations
• You are flexible to work on weekends and evenings
• Ability to consistently maintain positive vendor and employee relationships
• Strong verbal and written communication in English
