    Logistics Manager (Amsterdam, Utrecht)

    Grow with us and join our Logistics team as Logistics Manager where you will actively take part in bringing innovation and optimization to the delivery network so our customers can receive their box on time during a time window most suitable for them. In this role you will work with senior leadership to develop and execute against strategic goals for our linehaul and last mile logistics, focusing on carrier strategy with operational and digital efficiency. Your main objective will be to strategically source partnerships that ensure end-to-end service quality of the entire logistics chain together with 2 logistics specialists reporting to you.

    What you’ll do:

    • Lead the strategic sourcing and onboarding of shipping partners
    • Develop sourcing strategies for European carriers to sustain targeted delivery performance at the lowest possible cost
    • Maintain the shipping partner portfolio of all logistics partners
    • Define and pursue carrier contract terms; execute continuous contract reviews
    • Monitor and analyze carrier portfolio scorecards to ensure target service levels are met
    • Work collaboratively with customer experience, and digital teams to understand the voice of the customer to execute shipping/sourcing decisions
    • Analyze data to find efficiencies both in shipment performance and cost
    • Closely collaborate with finance to plan logistics costs in our network
    • Find innovative ways to deliver products to customers using current carriers as well as suggest new carriers to partner with while constantly raising the bar on the delivery experience
    • Drive efficiencies in terms of cost and/or ‘on-time’ scores related to inbound deliveries from our vendors
    • Grow and develop the talent in your team (2 direct reports)


    • 5+ years experience in logistics and carrier management, preferably in the food/beverage/perishable industry
    • Familiarity with the European linehaul and last mile logistics network
    • Bachelor or Master degree with focus on Engineering, Business, Operations or Supply Chain Management preferred
    • Highly self-motivated with strong accountability, consistency and follow-through skills
    • Able to work independently and use critical thinking to solve problems and find solutions as needed
    • Previous experience in strategic sourcing and/or previous experience developing partnerships with third party service providers
    • Experience with contract management with large parcel carriers preferred
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills with ability to effectively collaborate with different business leaders internal and external of the organization
    • Commercial and financial awareness, with a good understanding of the impact of failure with regards to business costs, the impact on end-to-end operations and customer satisfaction
    • High proficiency in MS Excel and G-suite
    • You are in the possession of a valid working permit for the Netherlands Germany
