    Logistics Coordinator

    Role Objective
    The team's main objective is to provide Equipment Support, Logistics & Liaison support with shipping partners They manage the process to move equipment used in this image collection and to keep this equipment tracked in the field, retrieve it, and manage equipment inventories at hardware depots. A logistics analyst is responsible for overseeing the life cycle of a product, including shipment, order updates, packaging & labeling.

    Responsibilities

    • Plan and implement inventory movement optimization (e.g. warehouse-slotting, route planning)
    • Oversee inventory procedures
    • Manage shipment requests for domestic and international orders and provide status updates to relevant stakeholders through delivery
    • Work with trade compliance team and 3PL to make sure that all international shipments comply with export/import regulations
    • Facilitate the packaging and labeling of dangerous goods for air shipment
    • Assist with equipment forecasting, local inventory management, and distribution
    • Helpdesk support via ticketing system (similar to Zendesk)
    • Receiving hierarchical guidance from the Line manager of the team or the department in which the job is positioned.
    • Coordinating work duties or providing functional guidance for colleagues.
    • To be able to access, deal with and advise on unique problems/transactions/files.
    • To use discipline-related analysis, issues are translated into suitable, customized solutions in accordance with the legislation and regulations and other guidelines based on specialized knowledge, usually supplemented by specialized education.
    • Carrying out transaction work duties for the customer in accordance with procedures, as well as the legislation and regulations, to contribute towards the timely and correct (administrative) processing, recording and settlement of transactions.
    • Observing opportunities for improving the provision of services, products or processes.
    • Contributing towards or realizing these opportunities for improvement.
    • To advice on the execution of the policy.
    • Acting as a sparring partner or providing the management or employees with input regarding discipline specific problems.
    • Coaching employees to their job, giving explanations, transferring knowledge and skills.
    • Drawing up the planning, distributing work, responsibility for the operational routine

    Requirements

    • 2-3 years’ experience in logistics industry, inventory, or warehouse management
    • Proficiency in computer databases, statistic applications and logistics programs
    • High school graduate or equivalent
    • Technological savviness
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to operate and communicate effectively with people at all levels of the business.
    • Comfortable with a rapidly changing environment
    • Strong problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail
    • Able to work independently, motivated, proactive attitude with a passion for learning and creative problem solving
