We are looking for a Transport Coordinator to support the Amsterdam sales office, to manage deliveries to customers, starting from the first responsible loading location until the end destination. Utilizing the Sourcing and Logistics contracts, and when needed utilizing spot market prices with pre-qualified suppliers.
The work activities as a Logistics Coordinator will be:
Planning deliveries according to delivery promise
Provide volume forecasts to suppliers where possible
Inform all stakeholders in case of delays and possible alternatives when found
Finding transport solutions and optimize e.g. combinations, partial loads.
Book and Dispatch based on customer promise and active agreements and awards.
The right Logistics Coordinator meets the following requirements:
2-3 years experience in logistics is an advantage
A team player, proactive, flexible, and willing to learn
Good knowledge of MS Office and computer skills in general.
Dutch or English, skilled in English writing and speaking is required.
