    Logistics Coordinator

    Biomaterials division is looking for a Transport Coordinator to support the Amsterdam sales office, to manage deliveries to customers, starting from the first responsible loading location until the end destination. Utilizing the Sourcing and Logistics contracts, and when needed utilizing spot market prices with pre-qualified suppliers

    Your Main responsibilities are:

    • Book and Dispatch based on customer promise and active agreements and awarding.
    • Planning deliveries according to delivery promise
    • Proactive approach concerning changes in operations e.g. production disruptions, strikes, roadblocks, peaks in order to offer alternatives when deliveries are jeopardized
    • Provide volume forecasts to suppliers where possible
    • Finding transport solutions and optimize e.g. combinations, partial loads
    • Inform all stakeholders in case of delays and possible alternatives when found
    • Customer relationship management, with buildup trust, understand customer’s business and resolve (potential) issues
    • Follow up the dispatch activities
    • Coordinating new transport setups from an operational point of view, adjusting the operational setup where needed in alignment with the business

    • A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent by experience in a similar position)
    • 2-3 years’ experience in logistics is an advantage
    • The necessary maturity to represent our company towards many stakeholders, potential to grow with the company
    • Administrative and communicative talent
    • A team player, proactive, flexible and willing to learn
    • Stress resistance
    • Good knowledge of MS Office and computer skilled in general.
    • Make independent decisions within the agreed competences
    • Dutch & English, skilled in English writing and speaking is required. German & French language is an advantage

    Location: Amsterdam/Antwerp office, must be a citizen from the EER
