PROCUREMENT LOGISTICS BUYER
About the Position
We have an outstanding opportunity available for a Procurement Logistics Buyer to make a difference at Kraft Heinz. The Procurement Logistics Buyer lies within the EMEA zone- within Procurement. You’ll be a part of a high performing team- alongside peers always trying to reach the next level. You’ll be reporting into the Senior Manager Procurement Logistics West. Get ready for a lot of exposure to internal senior partners! The delivery of savings and build sustainable supplier relationships will be your primary responsibility. You’re constantly looking for improvement activities within Procurement.
In brief- you will take ownership for:
Have commercial and financial responsibility of the Logistics Portfolio which includes Warehousing- Transportation and Re-packing and represents a total spend of 150M USD. Define and drive EMEA Sourcing Strategy on corresponding portfolio and align with internal stakeholders (Supply Chain- Manufacturing- R&D- Quality- Marketing Finance- Global Procurement)
RFI- RFQ- Benchmark and contract management activities related in a frequently basis.
Pro-actively work on different price models and market analysis to guarantee the best solution for our Business.
Support all markets to have the optimum footprint solution in place focusing on service level and cost efficiency with the strategical suppliers.
Identify value-engineering opportunities and ensure that these are implemented in factories on time
Actively support in various new development projects in corresponding portfolio to contribute to company's top line growth;
Manage the business review meetings with strategical suppliers to evaluate the performance- economical topics and Continuous improvement agenda.
Financial budgeting and reporting on price purchasing variance running detailed analysis on budget prices (real prices- volumes- contract coverage- Forecast- Cash)
10% working time in travel within Europe or wider region if requested.
Hard Skills Please kindly note that you need to have an EU Working Permit (Orientation Year Visa not included) in order to proceed for this position.
Education: Engineering- Finance- Business School or Economy.
Work Experience: 2 to 4 years.
Knowledge: SAP- Excel- Word and Power point skills
Language Knowledge: fluent in English is a must- additional languages are an advantage.
