In your role as a Legal Counsel, you will be dealing with a vast variety of legal matters across different countries with various languages and legal legacies. Our international Legal Department supports the organization on matters including public and private contracts, corporate compliance, employment matters, managing disputes, medical device safety and economic regulations and data protection.
In this exciting and varied role, you will engage in a highly collaborative and proactive culture, providing legal advice to multiple internal clients and managing multiple priorities and deadlines. You will communicate legal concepts and complex issues to laypersons, inspiring confidence at all levels. To succeed, you bring in excellent judgment, interpersonal and negotiation skills, as well as a structured project-management approach.
This position is based in our European headquarters in Amersfoort (NL) and reports to the Senior Legal Counsel who manages the European Legal Department.
Manage corporate house-keeping for our entities in Europe and the MENAT Area
Contribute to the commercial legal work of the Legal Department, including drafting and reviewing agreements in the framework of public and private contracts and procurement law
Manage legal disputes, including dealing with external parties appearing on such disputes
Analyze and advise on legislative developments that may affect the company, and assist with the business implementation of such
Review and provide advice on company policies and procedures, with focus on compliance
Provide training and guidance to team members on legal topics
University Law Degree (LL.M.)
Fluent communication skills in German, both written and spoken
Excellent communication skills in English
Knowledge of another European language
