Are you ready to build a B2B Content Marketing strategy for an international company?
This is your chance! As Lead Content Marketing you'll own the content strategy and content calendar. It's up to you to provide our target audiences with valuable information about our products, solutions and more.
What will you do?
You will build content around audiences and buyer journeys and ensure that the messages of our brands are reflected in the content created. Your focus will be both on top-of-the-funnel content to drive brand awareness and on medium and bottom-of-the-funnel content for lead generation programmes.
Key tasks include creating premium content such as blog posts, web pages, newsletters, social media posts and white papers, general website updates and fine-tuning marketing copy to make sure it's compelling and original. Tasks also include establishing strategies for media relations and creating the corresponding content including press releases, articles and presentations
As member of the Central Marketing organisation, you will work in an international setting. Close cooperation with the local country organisations is a key success factor. Defining processes and finding the ideal balance between centralised and decentralised content creation is an essential part of this role.
Who are you?
You are excellent at telling a story using words, images or audio, and have a good understanding of how to create content that attracts an audience. You have a pioneering mentality, are a connector and enjoy the challenge of working in a complex international environment. Furthermore, you have;
A bachelor or master’s degree in journalism, communication or a related field
Impeccable writing and editing skills
Experience in creating and editing digital content for B2B audiences across all multimedia and social media
Project management skills to manage editorial schedules and deadlines within corporate and ongoing campaigns.

You will be working at our newly built headquarters in Almere, the Netherlands. Our office meets the BREEAM “Outstanding” rating and was nominated for most sustainable building in the world.

Guido is our Marketing & Digital Director, who will give you the confidence and responsibility you need to fulfil this role. He will act as your sparring partner and sail along with your ideas. Of course, he will also guide you through the total marketing strategy of Aalbers-HFC, including objectives and results, so that you can get your input for the content marketing and can align your strategy with it. The role falls within the Central Online Marketing & Lead Generation team.
