    Lab Performance manager

    About the job

    As Lab Performance Manager you animate the lab performance program for all Danone labs (internal/external) and collect / report all data. You will lead the design of the program pillars, establishing KPI’s, targets & associated roadmaps, developing tools (audit grid, training supports, data consolidation), in close collaboration with lab experts, ensuring targets achievement implying Quality & Food Safety leaders and other D2D stakeholders (Ops, C&P & Digital).

    In this role, you report directly to the Lab Performance & Data Analytics Director.

    Your main responsibilities

    From this pivotal position within Danone Place Amsterdam, you will be responsible for:

    • Ensuring all Danone labs (internal/external) participate to the lab performance program.
    • Contributing to the design of lab performance shift program.
    • One program to run over whole Danone and external parties with different stakeholders.
    • Key contributor to the design of future lab.
    • Process & Projects: Lab management, Lab performance, Lab digitalization, Lab communities & Ideal factory.
    • Visiting, training, auditing QC Labs (approx. 10-20%). Reformulate
    • You will need to travel between 10 to 20% of your time for business trips

    Key deliverables

    • Program pillars (methods, p-tests, QMS self-assessment & audits…) KPis & targets and co-animation.
    • Benchmarking reports between labs and gap analysis, lab performance and improvement results report.
    • Ideal factory (maturity grid, best practice sharing etc.) data analysis report and improvement process.
    • How to follow and report lab performance for SP QC labs?
    • Supporting the lab to do lab performance analysis, RCA & Lab performance results reports.
    About you

    You are a team player who can easily connect with cross functional departments and strong in stakeholder management. You have strong communication skills to communicate with all levels and can easily build effective working relationships. For this role it is important to have a proactive attitude with a strong eye for detail.

    In addition, you fit this role perfectly because you are/have:

    • Master/PhD degree or equivalent in a relevant field (Food Engineering, Food technology, Laboratory or similar) and approx. 10 years of experience in performance or lab environment.
    • You have a good understanding of reliability & cost efficiency within a laboratory environment.
    • You have experience with GLP and/or PT and/or Lab Management and/or LIMS and/or lab certification
    • You are proactive in work and communication.
    • You have stakeholders’ management experience, strong networker (internal and external) and project management experience.
    • You have change agility, a business acumen mindset, you are result driven and able to work autonomously.
    • You have a collaborative mindset.
