    You and your job
    Within our Legal departments we manage legal risks and guard the reputation of the Rabobank. We do this by pro-active support of commercial, administrative and supporting activities with high-quality legal expertise.

    As (Junior) Legal Counsel Financial Markets Products & Regulation (FMPR) you will provide legal support on financial markets products and infrastructure. You will work on financial transactions (such as derivatives), business projects (such as product innovations) and regulation (such as EMIR and MiFID).

    By sharing your expertise and further perfecting the way we work, you will reinforce the team and the processes it supports. Partnering with the business comes naturally and you understand their needs, aligning these with second line requirements keeping bank and customer interest top of mind.

    You and your talent

    For this position we are looking for a Legal Counsel with the follow qualifications:

    • A Master of Laws. A focus on financial law a is welcoming plus, but not required;
    • 0 - 4 years’ work experience in a similar position;
    • Strong English language skills (minimum of C1) (and at least a basic understanding of the Dutch language (or willingness to learn).

    To be successful in this position, you bring the following personality skills with you:

    • Customer-oriented and able to level with clients from different organisations;
    • Collaborating mindset and able to coach others as well;
    • Complex problem solving skills;
    • Proactiveness and able to take ownership.

    This is what we offer you

    • Up to € € 5.437,98 gross per month (scale 8 ot 9, depending on knowledge and experience level);
    • Thirteenth month's salary and 8% holiday allowance;
    • An Employee Benefit Budget (EBB) of 10/11% of your gross salary to be used at your discretion. Buy extra holiday hours, add more to your pension savings or ask for part of the extra budget to be paid out;
    • A hybrid combination of working from home and at the office;
    • 100% reimbursement of commuting costs if you travel by public transport;
    • A pension scheme to which you contribute 3.5% (in 2023 5,5%).
