    Junior Graphic Designer

    Hi! We are FunXtion, a digital fitness experience company. We provide gyms with the tools to stay relevant in this fast-paced, ever-changing digital landscape. We do this by offering them energizing content and better delivery systems (e.g. apps, portals) so their members can train with them anytime, anywhere. We help some of the largest and best-known companies in the world (such as Fitness First, Goodlife and Anytime Fitness).

Because we are now looking for a Junior Graphic Designer!
    The role

    The responsibilities of a junior graphic designer include creating designs according to specifications, reporting to the senior graphic designer, and improving design tasks.

    To succeed as our new Funxtion Junior Graphic Designer, you should have original ideas and have a keen eye for detail. You should be able to create imaginative designs, be open to learning more and create impressive designs that promote the company’s vision.

    Responsibilities

    • Post-production of fitness content (including creating white label product)
    • Study design briefs and determine requirements
    • Identify the best ways to illustrate and communicate product’ vision while complying with design best practices
    • Create designs using illustration, photo editing and layout software
    • Ensure that the brand colours, images, typography are used appropriately in layout for communication materials, including websites, logos, signs, books, magazine/media usage, white papers, advertisements, and social media posts
    • Produce drafts for review and make revisions based on feedback received
    • Collaborate with other team members, such as marketing, sales, and product, throughout the various phases of a project
    • Review designs for errors before they are printed or published
    • Keep up to date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies.


    • +2 Years of working experience as a Graphic Designer.
    • Bachelor Level degree (or equivalent) in Graphic Design.
    • Highly proficient with Adobe CC: Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, InDesign.
    • Experienced with both online and print.
    • Knows how to present their work, both internally and externally.
    • Works both independently and as part of a team with different (non-design) roles.
    • Time management skills know their way around tight deadlines.
    • A talent for creativity and problem-solving.
