Business Operations Transformation (BOT) within Finance and Procurement is an enabler for creating a new IKEA. As part of BOT we will simplify and standardize our ways of working and implement new modern tools to meet new business requirements and demands helping us to minimize manual work, improve cost performance, secure business continuity and compliance. The Netherlands is one of the first countries to implement Business Operations Transformation.
Who you are - It is essential that you:

You have ;
HBO level with 3 to 5 years accounting experience.
Able to communicate fluent in English, able to communicate in Dutch is a pre.
Advanced Excel knowledge.
Preferred: Power BI knowledge, experience with SAP.
Purpose of the Job
Support the country finance team in the day to day financial and accounting activities.
Contribute to the finance transformation within IKEA by improving the current ways of working.
Together with the country finance team and transformation team prepare for new finance system and ways of working.
Work closely together with the Global Business Operations (GBO) and take care of resolving issues resulting in a timely and accurate month end closing. :
Support the finance team and Shared Service Centre on accounting and reporting activities.
Review issues in accounting and reporting operations and communicate to the relevant stakeholders to organize a solution.
Review, prepare and post/request all types of non-standard transactions to general ledger.
Responsible for various types of reconciliations (i.e. balance sheet, sales, costs)
Ensure that all transactions are processed accurately and timely in compliance with Ingka Group frameworks and local GAAP.
With Group function, Shared Service Centre and Country organization contribute to minimize deviations from standard global frameworks for local business needs and compliance reasons and secure effective ways of working
