    Job Description:

    If you are searching for a place where you can use your excellent communication and analysing skills, consider putting your experience in motion at Applied Medical. As a Junior Buyer, you have a detail-oriented mindset that will enable you to support the (Senior) Buyers with purchasing activities and follow up on various requests. Furthermore, you will play an important role in strategic purchasing projects and supplier management.

    As a Junior Buyer, you will join the Procurement team, which currently consists of 9 enthusiastic team members. You will report to the Manager Procurement.

    Within Applied Medical this position has the internal job title of Associate Buyer.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Collection and filing of purchasing related documents
    • Place purchase orders and follow up to ensure on-time deliveries
    • Resolve quality, pricing and delivery issues with suppliers
    • Create & maintain forms for administrative records
    • Reviewing and evaluate the performance of suppliers
    • Communicate in a timely and accurate manner
    • Ensure supplies and equipment are adequate in quantity and quality
    • Take ownership in problem solving and finding solutions
    • MBO level 4
    • 2+ years of experience in a similar role in an international environment
    • Experience with purchasing, sourcing, quality and accounting related processes
    • Fluent oral and written communication skills in English and Dutch
