    (Junior) Accountant

    The Finance team in EMEA support our fast growing company. As our global footprint continues to spread across the world, we are looking for an Junior Accountant General Ledger with a focus on general accounting to join our team in Arnhem, The Netherlands.
    What youâll learn & achieve::

    Under supervision, you will assist in general accounting work in a timely and accurate manner, in compliance with local GAAP and US GAAP. You will assist in analyzing accounts as well as preparing monthly reports, financial statements, statistical reports and tax reports. In addition, you will advise and assist internal and external customers.

    You will be responsible for the following tasks:

    • Assist with daily GL accounting and timely reconciliation of GL accounts for several (foreign) legal entities.
    • Assist with month end close activities, analysis and financial reporting
    • Assist with Tax reporting (i.e. VAT, CIT, payroll tax)
    • Assist with Cashflow management
    • Assist with compiling annual reports and the external audit.
    • Identify and execute improvements to processes and the control environment
    • Assist with coordinating with 3rd party service providers i.e. payroll, accounts payable and receivable department
    • Assist with ad hoc reporting and questions from US headquarters and business owners
    • Participate in special (cross functional) projects.
    What makes you a great fit::
    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from a business school
    • Detailed accounting knowledge. Exposure to US GAAP would be an advantage
    • Proficient in excel
    • You have excellent verbal and written English (and preferably Polish) language skills
    • Experience with Oracle R12 (ERP System) is a plus
    • You have experience with an international matrix organization would be an advantage
    • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and strong customer focus
    • You are self-motivated and able to work independently and in teams
    • Engaged and open-minded
    • Result oriented and eager to solve challenges
