About the job
The Junior PMO is part of the Programme Team responsible for managing a change project that aims to introduce a new capital-raising model for Oikocredit in different stages in 2023 and 2024. The project was initiated in response to evolving financial markets regulation and is also an effort to simplify the current model in which different entities sell financial products across 11 countries. The project’s objectives are to find and implement a unified model that safeguards the cooperative’s mission and decreases its current complexity and risks while at the same time increasing transparency.
A new model was identified in late 2021 and the Programme Team has been in place since early 2022 to implement this model across all of Oikocredit’s markets. The Programme Team coordinates ten workstreams that are tasked with preparing different aspects of the implementation including legal, personnel, IT or financial product matters.
The Jr. PMO will be supporting any activity in this cooperative-wide, cross-functional and global programme.
Main responsibilities
- Understand the project scope, budget, duration and support the project requirements needed to complete the project
- Supervise lower project management levels
- Schedule project meetings, follow up on invitations, taking minutes (with guidance from the Project Manager)
- Safeguard and maintain key documents, data and SharePoint repository to ensure project integrity Support the Project Manager in identifying areas of conflict of interests, develop project plans, methodologies and deliverables and monitor all workstreams
- Support the Project Manager in identifying risks and potential ways to mitigate these
- Maintain a good working relationship with all involved in the project to enhance quality and timely delivery of results
Qualifications, skills, and experience
- Bachelor´s degree in project management or business administration (or similar)
- Minimum two years of work experience (preferably in a PMO role)
- Competence in IT, particularly in standard project management tools like MS Office and MS Project or similar
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work under time pressure and work against timelines
- Conflict resolution skills

Duration and hours
The position is for 32-40 hours/week for a fixed 1-year term with the possibility to extend.
