The Junior PMO is part of the Programme Team responsible for managing a change project that aims to introduce a new capital-raising model for Oikocredit in different stages in 2023 and 2024. The project was initiated in response to evolving financial markets regulation and is also an effort to simplify the current model in which different entities sell financial products across 11 countries. The project’s objectives are to find and implement a unified model that safeguards the cooperative’s mission and decreases its current complexity and risks while at the same time increasing transparency.
A new model was identified in late 2021 and the Programme Team has been in place since early 2022 to implement this model across all of Oikocredit’s markets. The Programme Team coordinates ten workstreams that are tasked with preparing different aspects of the implementation including legal, personnel, IT or financial product matters.
