Currently we are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Retail Marketing Manager to join our passionate, close-knit marketing team located in Weesp, to promote Palmolive brand in the Netherlands for the coming 6 months.

In this role, s(he) functions as a touch point expert for the Palmolive brand and is responsible for developing insight-based shopper marketing solutions for the different Retail Environments and our Key Customers. With the support of the Senior Retail Marketing Manager s(he) co-develops the Business Planning Cycle and ensures achievement of commercial objectives for the category as well. Additionally s(he) gives input on the category development projects and shelf advice of the Personal Care category towards all Dutch retailers.

Success in this role translates into an outstanding Retail Marketing Manager whose expertise leads to increased brand awareness, net sales and profitability.

Key accountabilities and responsibilities

• Lead shopper solutions based on insights and drive the category initiatives across retailers and the organization

• Activate Category Growth Drivers in the customers plans with touch point expertise

• Lead the local Commercialization process for the Palmolive innovation grid

• Influence innovation grid and timing to improve local success and identify further growth opportunities

• Responsible for the monthly Business Planning, monitoring business health via Nielsen for his/her categories and brand - and identify appropriate plans and incremental opportunities to deliver and exceed KPIs

• Portfolio management

• Engage with customers with specific category development projects based on strong insights, specific promotions and/or activation of specific customer tools

• Support shelf advice for PC category at Key Customers

• Own and manage advertising and promotion budget

Profile

Bachelor or Master degree

Dutch and English

Experience: min 1-3 year(s) marketing experience, preferably in FMCG
