ERIKS Digital is looking for an IT Vendor manager to get the best out of our current and future relationships with our IT partners and IT suppliers? In this position you will support the Sr Sourcing & Vendor manager in developing a robust, professional, and forward-thinking technology sourcing organization. Furthermore, you will proactively identify and execute savings and innovation opportunities for business/technology stakeholders
About the role
At present, there are more than 100 suppliers from whom we purchase various IT products & services. As an IT Vendor Management Specialist, you are responsible for optimizing value delivery and business outcomes through the consistent management, administration, and guidance of our partners and suppliers. You will be responsible (mostly post-contract signature) for the operational, tactical, and strategic aspects of the multi-faceted field of Vendor Management.
This means that you are the one who can get the best and the most out of a partner & supplier for ERIKS so that the contract that has been signed will be successful. Vendor Management ensures that the added value of IT is experienced within ERIKS.
Within ERIKS the IT contracts concern both infrastructure and applications, from smaller software contracts to the complete outsourcing of services, as well as the commitment to innovations (IT Roadmap).
You’ll have recurring meetings with the Vendors and internally with ERIKS key stakeholders and focus on the realization of contracted quality improvements and savings within the contract lifecycle.
This challenge is also to develop and implement a vision on further professionalization and developments of the fields of Vendor Management. You will contribute to the development, application and securing of knowledge and expertise in the field of Vendor Management in a team of professionals by creating support for the way in which you organize Vendor Management (be a team player by cooperation and coaching) and by continuously improving our information provision and digitizing our contract management work.
You will be part of ERIKS Digital, a team of 100+ professionals enabling the processes of ERIKS with Digital solutions. You will work together and report to the Senior Sourcing & Vendor Manager, alongside a Contract Manager and Technology Sourcing Specialist.
As a Vendor Manager, you are able to act at strategic, tactical, and operational level. As a fast learner with good analytical abilities. You have an entrepreneurial approach in which you are not afraid to take the initiative and drive objective decisions that deliver business value, always acting in line with our company values.
You are a self-starter who can achieve results quickly in a complex and dynamic work environment. You are satisfied by the challenge of bringing clarity to ambiguity and have a proven track record in the area of IT vendor management and contract management. You have no difficulties with communications at all levels with both internal and external stakeholders and you can represent a range of interests in an objective manner.
We believe the right candidate meets the following criteria:
Bachelor or Master in Business studies or ICT, or equivalent experience
Proven experience (2-4 years) as an IT Vendor Manager (or a similar role) within a multinational company
Familiarity with IT and data communications.
Relationship builder and team player
- High cost and risk awareness, high-level understanding of legal affairs, contract- standardization & project control and quality
Fluent in written and spoken English (Dutch is a pre.)
