    IT Risk & Security Officer (1st Line Of Defense)

    IT Risk & Security Officer (1st LoD) –Retail Tech/IT Security CoE

    To join within the Retail Tech/IT Security Centre of Expertise team, we are looking for a IT Risk & Security Officer (1st Line Of Defense) to ensure that ING's activities are in line with regulatory and internal requirements and run smoothly in such a way that it can be demonstrated to the internal stakeholders, regulators and the outside world.We have in-depth collaboration with our business partners and our tech colleagues as well as with our 2LoD and 3rd LOD colleagues.     What you'll do

    Act as the trusted partner of the IT Leads and IT Area Leads making IT Security and IT Risk is a standing topic within the MT.

    • Supporting them with IT Risk Control Implementation

    • Educating them on how IT Risk Score scores are calculated

    • Monitor and follow up on IT iRisk issues (Information Technology)

    • Follow up on discrepancies found in the central IT Risk & Security reports

    Making sure IT Security and IT Risk requirements are proactively and adequately addressed for all IT Deliveries.

    • to coach the Product Owners and the IT teams about IT Min Standards and IT Security Standards so that they can fulfill their role.

    • train IT devops engineers making sure security and risk is embedded in the IT squad.

    • to monitor and challenge stakeholders to make sure IT Deliveries are secure and compliant. In other words to make sure security is embedded in the SDLC, (no asset is put to production if there are security gaps in the asset and underlying stack)

    • To facilitate activities such as BIA, IT Detailed Risk Assessments and risk assessments (MFA, CYR scenario, Operational Resilience scope) to make sure proactive risk management is adhered to.

    • To fulfill Head of IT Security responsibility as required by the IT Risk Min Standards including lead for Security Incident management.

    • To execute FLM responsibilities making sure evidences are moved to stage 8 in ITRMP only when they are properly evidenced. 4 eyes principle regarding IT Head of Security controls

    Required Skills :

    • You have 5+ years prior expertise in business fields such as: IT, IT Security, Information Risk management or IT Audit.

    • Problem analysis, judgment, persuasiveness as three of your main competencies next to investigative and learning ability, planning and organizing skills and you are always anticipating the business' situation

    • You are a team-player that is proud of your craft, solution-focused and broadly developed. Our Risk 1st LoD officer have a positive can-do mind-set and live the Orange Code Behavior.

    • You have or really want to have experience in a complex and challenging (global) IT environment

    • In-depth knowledge of ING Risk Management procedures and methodologies, risk assessments, etc.
      You are customer focused, you exceed expectations, understand the customer and are visible to the customer.

    • You know how to communicate at different levels with stakeholders and are persuasive. You don’t give up, unless it is wise to do so.

    • You can prove that you are constantly improving your IT knowledge (books, tutorials, trainings, etc.)

    • You have an IT education qualification and are possessing one of more of these certificates - CISM and/or CISA and / or CISSP (Certifications in the area of Audit, Information Security, (Enterprise) Risk Management)
