Keeping an overview over our international application landscape and ensuring availability, performance, defining and keeping SLA’s. It is within reach with this full-time job as an IT operations manager in Almere (Hybrid) . We are IT within Athlon . Getting you there.
Your road to success
Left or right, you create the overview of our delivered applications related to ITIL in all Athlon markets in different countries. Ensuring that our internal customers understand what we deliver and the added value for them. Gathering information on requirements, needs and delivering this input to suppliers for improvement of application and services. You can do this as an IT operations manager with full focus on:
- creating visual dashboards for all markets, giving insights into key deliverables.
- setting up continuous monitoring of the services for reliable delivery.
- creating service level agreements, and ensuring the adherence to the agreed upon parameters.
- participating in projects for future implementations in the field of application management.
- advising management on use and improvement of applications.

What do you take with you as an IT operations manager for at least 38 of hours per week? Absolutely your ability to keep overview over a complex application landscape, excellent communication skills and organizational sensitivity. You also have the drive to be the key expert on our ITIL application landscape, advising both internal customers and management on necessary information and improvements. Keeping a critical eye on the applications, deliverables and communicating relevant information to stakeholders managing expectations and relationships internally and externally. In addition, you have:
- at least 7 years of relevant experience from organizations with complex application landscapes.
- relevant higher information from IT or technical business administration.
- knowledge and expertise in ITIL, infrastructure, cloud.
- Experience with stakeholder management, ideally with an international character.
- the desire to work in an complex environment currently in the middle of transforming into an agile organization.

Efficient and valuable development of and delivery of standardized applications to our markets. That is our goal with Athlon International IT. You strengthen the delivery of International Applications within IT Platforms & Services of the Enterprise Application Management department as the IT Operations Manager. You will also help shape this recently formed department to work effectively with the other IT departments and business stakeholders. We use many different applications and services, so collaboration is an important factor within our domain. We are constantly looking at points for improvement and ways to set up our working method more agile and lean. All customers, lease drivers, suppliers and colleagues rely on our systems. As the IT operations manager you are service minded and you want to engage with our colleagues in the markets who depend on our systems. It’s natural for you to be transparent about the reached service levels and ways to improve them.
