    About the job

    Law and regulations are getting tighter and tighter regarding money-laundering and terrorist financing. Based on these stricter rules, Oikocredit has decided to set up a project to re-assess all clients’ files it is responsible for. The Investor Support Officer is part of the Investor Support remediation team within the Operations unit, and reports to the Project Manager FATCA/ CRS and KYC

    Main responsibilities

    As an Investor Support Officer, you will be responsible for processing, assessing, and updating the risk profile of existing Direct Members and OISF (International Share Foundation) investors. More specifically, you will be responsible for:

    • Contacting and collecting documentation from our Direct Members and OISF investors in line with our CDD policy.
    • Analyzing the documentation provided by our Direct Members and OISF investors in order to perform a risk assessment in line with our CDD policy.
    • Ensuring that the documentation and data collected from our Direct Members and OISF investors, is duly registered in the monitoring sheet, as well as the CRM system.
    • Being proactive to contact Direct Members and OISF investors to ensure the remediation project targets are met.
    • Guarantying that the entire process to collect, process, analyze and risk assessment is very customer friendly, preserving Oikocredit’s and OISF’s reputation.

    Qualifications, skills, and experience

    • A bachelor’s or master’s degree (with law background)
    • Preferably some experience in the financial services industry. Internships are also considered to be experience.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German.
    • Familiar with the Dutch AML regulation and the FATCA/ CRS regulation within the financial services industry would be a plus.
    • Experience with executing Know Your Customer (KYC) assessments would be helpful.
    • Sufficient IT literacy to make effective use of the applications and systems required.

    • This position will be a fixed contract for 6-12 months, which can be extended depending on the progress of the project.
