    Internship(R&I): Product Design

    You will have the chance to support R&I team to co-drive the future of CBU by driving innovations, renovations and the productivity brand pipeline in collaboration with Sales / Marketing, Sourcing and Operations departments.

    The team is moving the location from Utrecht to Zoetermeer and this internship will be an opportunity to have your first working experience with the guidance of the Head of R&I Netherlands FMCG, Celine Delmas.

    The internship will focus on supporting the creation of a new experience space, adapt sample management and sensory session organization during the move to the new office location. You will be key to support the creation of consumer-centric product briefs with the goal of delivering a superior, sustainable and cost-effective product experiences; and ensure the successful development of technical solutions with R&I Europe.

    You will have the opportunity to get to know and learn the basics of what entails to be a product developer and analyzer in a multinational company.

    Your mains tasks will be:

    • Ensure proper samples reception, storage, expedition and display according to relevance
    • Prepare team tasting questionnaires, organize and host sensory sessions and deliver conclusion report to enable team decision and project progress
    • Define amount of samples storage per conditions need and propose flow in future office
    • Plan and prepare for office move taking into account minimum tasting session disruption risk

    • Maintain the technical database of Danone NL products in all categories by integrating data on composition, nutrition, communication, packaging, shelf-life etc, leveraging local and EU information.
    • Maintain the Technical database of EU Competitors by capturing and making competitor data accessible on a daily basis.
    About you

    You are a MBO or Bachelor student in Food Science, Sensory Science or in any other similar field.

    You are very motivated to learn more about R&I and are a “ hands on” person who act proactively on daily basis. You effectively communicate with different stakeholders and are able to work autonomously in a complex and fast-paced work environment. You are comfortable with changes and are not afraid of Ad-hoc requests. You are a results-oriented person, thriving in an environment where you can solve problems and be continuously challenged.

    Data management is your “thing” and being organization is your last name. Furthermore, you have strong analytical skills and knows how to use Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI is a nice to have.

    There are also some compulsory requirements:

    • You are an enrolled as student during the full period of your internship (non-EU citizens are only eligible to apply if they are enrolled in a Dutch university);
    • You are fluent in English – oral and written; Dutch and/or French are considered a plus
    • You can start mid -September or October for 4 months, 5 days per week;
    • You are able to work in Utrecht and in Zoetermeer when needed
    • Please note that you are required to relocate to the Netherlands (if abroad) for this internship and get a BSN number.

    We offer a gross monthly internship of 650 euros gross per month plus travel card in the Netherlands.
