Would you like to be part of our digitalization roadmap? Then join us in the EU Quality & Food Safety in Sourcing team in our HQ office in Hoofddorp, NL

    With the consumer at the center of our heart, quality and food safety is the number one priority of Danone as worldwide food manufacturer. We believe that quality and food safety should be managed end-to-end, from producer to consumer, throughout the entire value chain. In this internship you will support the EU Quality & Food Safety in Sourcing team to ensure that the pack materials and ingredients the company sources for our products, are compliant with the value promises to the customers / consumers and Danone processes requirements.

    We are currently implementing a new collaboration platform in order to improve the efficiency in the management of the quality and food safety processes related to the approval and continuous improvement of suppliers and third-party manufacturers. In this internship you will play an active role on our digitalization transformation.

    As part of your scope you will be working with business units, factories and suppliers around Europe.

    Your main activities will include:

    • Provide support on suppliers compliance taking into account Danone requirements
    • Collaborate with our platform readiness: check / update / action plan review
    • Actively collaborate on the platform processes for new contacts creation and upload of documents.
    • Play an active role on updating our compliance processes: Documents collection, analysis, document management
    About you

    You are a Master or Bachelor student in Food Quality Management, Food Safety or another related field. You are a team player. You are not afraid to ask questions and are results oriented. You are well-organized and have an eye for detail to ensure a smooth execution of tasks from the beginning to end. Also, you have good analytical skills. All in all, good communication skills, a proactive attitude and the eagerness to learn are important to bring this internship to success.

    There are also some compulsory requirements:

    • Enrolled as a student during the whole internship period (if you are a non-EU citizen, you need to be enrolled at a Dutch university);
    • Ideally available to start in September 2022 for a minimum of 6 months, 5 days per week;
    • You are fluent in English - spoken and written; French is considered a plus
    • You are able to work from Hoofddorp, Netherlands (Hybrid model )

    We offer a gross monthly internship of 650 euros gross per month plus travel card in the Netherlands.
