    Internship - Human Rights & Social Sustainability

    Internship - Human Rights & Social Sustainability – law students preferred

    Are you a (graduate), preferably law, student, passionate about Human Rights & Social Sustainability, and looking for an experience in an international environment?

    At HEINEKEN, we do business with respect for people’s fundamental dignity and their human rights. Your contribution as intern in Global Social Sustainability & Human Rights team is essential to this commitment. You will help us to define and align what is needed to fulfil the requirements of the new EU mandatory human rights due diligence legislation, work on Human Rights issues related to climate change and on turning our global playbooks into fun formats.

    The internship is based in Amsterdam and available per September 1st for the duration of 5-6 months. The compensation is 500 EUR gross per month.

    Please note that all interns must be enrolled at a university for the entire duration of the internship. You will need to provide a proof of enrolment with your application. Applications without this will not be considered.

    Your responsibilities

    In this internship you will be responsible for:

    • Defining what is needed to fulfil the requirements of of the new EU mandatory Human Rights due diligence legislation
    • Providing support on implementation of these requirements
    • Providing support on Human Rights & Climate Change project
    • Turning our global Playbooks related to Human Rights into interactive formats (videos, interactive learnings etc.)

    Your profile

    You are a student in a relevant field of study – preferably law - and you have the following:

    • Ability to prioritize and to work in a structured way on projects and individually
    • Exceptional team player capability and eagerness to learn, share knowledge
    • Proficiency in English: written, spoken and interpersonal
    • A pragmatic approach with a can-do mentality
    • Strong MS Office skills
