Internship - Global Purchasing Logistics (1st January, 2022)

Support the global logistics purchasing team to set-up & implement dashboards to improve contract management for warehousing.
Support the on-boarding of suppliers on new tools being rolled out by the global logistics purchasing team.
Be a part of a global interaction with regional and local teams across different Henkel departments & regions.
Manage projects for continuous improvement with the global strategic sourcing team.
Analyze logistics cost breakdown in warehousing & establishing transparency via the new tool setup.
Utilize the global sustainability roadmap for the logistics categories as a basis, to implement a regular tracking & follow-up mechanism.
Knowledge in the creation of KPI and dashboard reports.
Ability to take information & facts & translate them into meaningful conclusions.
Onboard & train the regional teams on the new tools being rolled out by the global logistics purchasing team.
Conduct market research on transport-, warehousing- and logistics equipment solutions within the pan European market area.
Availability: Starting in January 2022, available for minimum 6 months.
University degree in Business Administration or related studies, such as Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Business IT Management or Economics
Being a true team player as well as open-minded, analytical, flexible, pro-active, determined and able to work independently
Excellent presentation skills, assertive, with an ability to establish collaborative relationships across multiple functions & strive for win-win solutions.
Open-minded and proactive team player with excellent presentation and communication skills
Ability to multi task
Person with advanced analytical skills and a sense for facts and figures
Practical experience with SAP and procurement software is a plus
Good experience with MS-Office, especially Excel & PowerPoint. Power BI is a plus
Fluent in English (written, oral)
