The JDE Global eCommerce Team is a young and experienced team of digital & eCommerce experts. In your role as intern you will be working in one of our direct or indirect eCommerce channels scrum teams on daily tasks as well as your own projects: Indirect B2C: Grocery online & Pure Players, or direct B2C: e-shops, marketplaces and social commerce. You will learn very fast on digital eCommerce and work in a dedicated and energetic team of 35+ FTE.
Center of Excellence (CoE) Team works closely with both local and global teams to build e-commerce capabilities across 3 e-commerce channels: grocery online, pure players (especially Amazon) and marketplaces. While we ensure that our e-operational excellence framework CASA (Content, Assortment, Search, Activation) is embraced by all functions across JDE to guarantee excellent digital shelf execution, we also assist the local markets with their e-commerce plans to further grow our online sales and share. We are involved in various marketplace related projects to bring the expertise and know-how on this high potential channel in-house to JDE. We also explore e-commerce as a “go-to-market” strategy in countries where we currently don’t have an established business unit.
In your role as CoE intern, you will be mainly supporting requests where there is a need to create content in line with our CASA principles and digital shelf execution guidelines as well as get involved in various analytical projects with local markets and global teams to assist CoE team members.
