    Internship Customer Marketing and Communications

    We are looking for a 3rd year student to temporarily join our Corporate Marketing team. The intern will work in the inspiring international Marketing team of Planon. The Global Marketing department is developing and executing a winning marketing strategy to support Planon’s ambitious growth objectives. The Global Marketing team consists of a Corporate Marketing team based at our headquarters in the Netherlands and local Marketing teams in The Netherlands/Belgium, Central Europe, Sweden, France, United Kingdom, Asia and North America. As an intern you support the Corporate Marketing team and you will work closely together with the Product Marketing and Field Marketing teams.

    This is a dynamic supportive role within an ambitious, high-energy, high-output team. We are looking for a creative, pro-active personality to support our global marketing activities. The right candidate is eager to learn and has a strong affinity for digital marketing. This is an internship at our EMEA headquarters, based in Nijmegen, The Netherlands.

    The Corporate Marketing team is responsible for maintaining and optimizing the corporate website, search engine optimization and advertising, press, maintaining and optimizing all marketing operational tools (like a marketing automation platform, an interactive content platform and a press releases management tool). Besides that, the team is responsible for developing online and offline, multi-channel marcom campaigns that target different audiences: prospects, customers and partners. This includes content creation like webinars, white papers, blogs, case studies, (digital) direct mailings, infographics and product brochures.

    This internship will have a strong focus on supporting customer marketing. Research and tasks include:

    • Research into the customer journey;
    • Supporting the creation of customer-specific content such as articles, newsletters, webinars and the customer portal;
    • Implementing and analyzing A/B tests on our website and emails
    • Supporting the global user conference;
    • Analyzing our customer campaigns via Marketo, Google Analytics and Salesforce to find areas for improvement.

    You meet the following criteria:

    • Education/experience- Studying for a masters or bachelors degree in marketing, (international) business, communications and/or journalism- Knowledge of digital marketing and understanding of the importance of integrated communication- Experience with demand generation activities such as e-mail marketing is a plus- Experience with writing content such as social media messages or blog posts is a plus:
    • Business Skills- Good organizational skills, ability to multi-task, prioritise, schedule, and meet deadlines;
    • Personality- Strong team player, collaborative, service-oriented, hands-on and eager to learn;
    • Languages- Good oral and written communications skills in English;
    • Computer Skills- Experience using marketing automation software such as Marketo would be beneficial, but not required- Basic HTML knowledge is a plus.
