Internship Current Accounts and Savings+ 查看更多
Within the tribe Daily Banking & Digital First, we are responsible for managing private and business processes related to payment accounts. Think of opening, closing, changing an account, but also managing the right package with the payment account. To properly manage these processes, an internal tool has been developed called “Operational Tooling”. The purpose of this tool is to be able to register possible failures in the processes and to be able to offer them again to the correct process. Operational Tooling consists of a Frontend application and several Backend applications. Because customer data is used, it is very important that the tool complies with all Risk and Compliance rules that we have within ING Bank. Think of user management, audit trailing and data encryption. The tool has been in use for some time now and we notice that its Backend application is complex and time-consuming. For example, 2 types of databases are used.
The goal of the internship assignment is to rewrite the Backend application into 1 new application to be built that is simple, clear, flexible and manageable. The new application must be based on ING's standards.
Roles and responsibilities
Reengineer the backend application
Implement 1 type of database
