    About the Job


    You will be part of the Global Cycles & Procurement organization of Danone within the department that is responsible for the global sourcing of first diet ingredients (non-dairy).


    You will become part of a team with colleagues who are highly skilled and dedicated professionals aiming to source the required products to focus on the development of our suppliers to meet the right level of food and quality requirements of Danone and responsible for driving cost efficiency, innovation, service level and sustainability with our Global suppliers.

    You will be working closely with our Senior Buyer Fruits and Vegetable at our office in Hoofddorp, NL.


    You main tasks will be:

    Category Performance: (50%)
    - Tools Management - monthly update of the tools used by the Team
    • Support buyers with project management (saving, sustainability,..)
    • Support buyers with Business Continuity Plan: map out critical materials and define/monitor mitigation plan with buyers
    • Support continuous improvements on the Procure to Pay (P2P)

    Compliance: (50%)
    • Manage contracts and support with tenders
    • Support buyers with legal risk assessment and contract signature
    • Maintain a tool for category management, incl. volumes and prices consolidation for both fruits and vegetable portfolio;
    • Ensure compliance at supplier's level
    About you

    About You


    You are a Bachelor/Master student in Business Engineering, Supply Chain or Procurement with excellent and proven Excel skills. We are searching for a candidate with strong analytical skills, who’s able to easily connect with people and work autonomously. Additionally, your eye for detail and logical mindset allows you to spot critical information in the data provided, supporting you in gathering useful insights that can be transformed into solutions. You are a fast learner, team player, have positive energy and ability to prioritize to always meet deadlines. You are not afraid to challenge situations and bring your own ideas forward in order to act proactively in a fast-paced environment.


    There are also some compulsory requirements:


    • Enrolled as a Bachelor/Master student during the whole internship period (if you are a non-EU citizen, you need to be enrolled at a Dutch university);
    • Ideally available to start in September or earlier (preferable) 2022 for a minimum of 6 months, 5 days per week;
    • You are fluent in English - spoken and written;
    • You are able to work from Hoofddorp, NL
    • Please note that you are expected to relocate to the Netherlands (if abroad) for this internship and get a BSN.

    We offer a gross monthly internship allowance* of 450 (HBO students) or 550 (University students) euros per month and a contribution towards travel if required. Please do keep in mind that we do not offer relocation and/or accommodation benefits for students coming from abroad.
