    International Logistics Coordinator

    As an International Logistics Coordinator you will be working for a logistic company based in Hoofddorp with worldwide offices. You will be working in a team of colleagues who are responsible for the coordination of the logistics of moving personal belongings and household effects for people who are moving to another country.     The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for:

    • Planning of international transports
    • Provide adequate service to the clients and stay in direct contact with them
    • Ensure efficient handling of shipments by checking orders and containers
    • Budget handling of shipments
    • Arranging transport - air freight, ocean freight and road freight
    • Create and communicate a planning for movers to pack the household
    • Responsible for issues with delivery and/or damaged goods during the shipping process
    • Providing detailed customs forms and prepare export declarations
    • Inform internal stakeholders about schedules and planning
    • Keeping the logistic database up to date

    Requirements for the position of International Logistics Coordinator:
    • 2 years of (logistic) administration experience or equivalent background required
    • Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written in English (as a native speaker English or English on C1 / C2 business level)
    • Experience as an export employee, customer service representative, import coordinator, administrative warehouse assistant or customs employee
    • Living in the Netherlands
    • A positive- and service minded attitude

    Currently, due to Covid-19, all employees work remotely. In the near future working hours will be split between office and home.
