As our new User Experience Intern you will be working within the User eXperience team, a Community of more than 90 people located all over the world with the same mission: collaborate with R&I (Research & Innovation) and the broader business to elevate the user voice to co-design distinctive superior experiences that people will adopt. Your main role will be to co-lead a research project that brings user insights, focusing on children’s eating behavior

What your team does:
Consolidate existing knowledge on how children develop eating habits, from their first bites onwards.
Highlight for children and their parents which factors support or hinder the development of healthy eating habits, and what parents’ needs and strategies are.
Inspire new innovations by bringing relevant consumer insights.
Your main responsibilities will be to:
Bring a user centric mindset into the project team and drive innovation using qualitative and quantitative methodologies.
Analyze insights from academic research and previous internal projects to capitalize on existing knowledge.
Consolidate and translate these learnings into business recommendations.
Communicate your learnings to different stakeholders within the company.
During your internship with us you will be closely supervised by Aukje Verhoeven, Senior User Experience Manager. You will join a fun international team with people who are eager to guide you through this internship to achieve your career goals as well as deliver great results together.
Ideally you are a Master student (or highly ambitious bachelor student!) with a background in nutrition and health science, dietetics, social sciences/consumer science focusing on eating behavior, or similar. You are passionate about children’s eating behaviour and developing healthy eating habits. You have strong research and analytical skills. Previous academic or work experience in this field of research is necessary. You are proactive and not afraid to take action on your own initiatives, detail oriented and you bring forward new ideas. You are willing and able to tackle autonomous tasks as well as be a valuable member of the team.
In addition, you must meet the following requirements:
You must be enrolled as Master/Bachelor student for the whole duration of the internship (If you are not an EU-Citizen, you must be enrolled at a Dutch university)
You are fluent in English – written and verbal.
You are willing to commute to the office in Utrecht, NL (Note: If you are abroad you are required to relocate to the Netherlands and get a BSN)
You are available in September or October, for a minimum of 6 months; 4-5 days a week (Mostly in the office)

As of September, we offer a gross internship monthly allowance of650 euros per month and a home working allowance/contribution towards travel.Please do keep in mind that we do not offer relocation and/or accommodation benefits for students coming from abroad.
