Feeder Aircraft Operations contract aircraft with vendors in a safe, legal, reliable way, always looking for costs efficiency and focus in sustainability initiatives. The Business Transactions team look after compliance, invoices, reporting, communication, contract agreements and dashboards. We strive to establish operational excellence and word class air operations. To achieve this, we define standards, provide support, deploy the latest technology and measure, monitor and help improve our service to our customers.
You will be working in a very diverse team consisting of around 16 experts who are strategically positioned across Europe and Canada. Even though the team has a European focus, there are various projects with a global or multi-regional scope. Preferably we are looking for work-along interns who want to build on their experience and develop their competencies. However, we are also open to interns with research assignments that fit the Feeder Aircraft Operations Business Transactions team.
Fuel Project Support Internship
As a Fuel Project Support intern, you will help drive and support a key project that is aimed at improving existing ways of working. As such we are looking for 1 dedicated and capable candidate to support the following projects:
Communications support The communications fuel project around the continuous improvement of the communication to various (operational) audiences across our operators and internal customers. This includes embedding a feedback and tracking mechanism as well as monitoring its usage, improving our digital environment and putting forward innovative ideas.
Updating the fuel files with fuel information from Forte (Fuel IT system)
Updating the flights with fuel figures received from FedEx ramps, CDG fuelers, LGG airport
Supporting the fuel project initiative (process improvement)
Strong communication skills (incl. presentation skills & digital knowledge)

You need to:
Have good command of English (additional European language is a plus).
Be a well-organized team player who meets deadlines.
Be comfortable working independently and remotely (if required).
Be eager to take initiative and maximize (learning) opportunities.
Be enrolled in finance study at a university or HBO degree or a research university (WO) for the entire duration of the internship.
Be legally permitted to work in the country of internship (work permit).
The internship location will be in the Netherlands. Given the current circumstances, working from home is still the norm for our team, however, once guidelines change, working in one of our offices, either in Hoofddorp, Veldhoven or elsewhere is also possible.
