    Intern - Data Analytics Trade Compliance

We are looking for an HBO of MSc student with interest in Trade Compliance who is searching for a challenging internship in our innovative company!

    Your internship project
    Trade Compliance is responsible for monitoring the import and export flows worldwide. Currently, this department is transitioning from an operational to a strategic department. In order to support the transition, we need to gain more visibility and control into our supply chain flows related covering more than 120 countries and have multiple internal and external stakeholders.

    As an intern you work together with Trade Compliance specialists to connect with stakeholders’ and analyses reports to perform a current state assessment. Based on this baseline you need to identify gaps, opportunities and improvements related to our EMEA’s import and export activities, and to be able to present the results to internal stakeholders.

    Your responsibilities

    Analyze information from different sources and stakeholders in order to identify gaps or opportunities
    Structure the data so that it for internal and external reporting
    Be able to present the results of your assessment for a non-expert audience
    Not be afraid to ask questions and to find the answers
    Providing a fresh perspective within the department: your opinion matters

    The above-mentioned responsibilities are an indication of what you will be doing after proper onboarding and initial learning and development. This provides you with the opportunity to learn and hereafter perform tasks independently. In consultation with your supervisor, you could take on additional tasks and responsibilities.

    You will be joining a vibrant team located in Haarlem, which is responsible for international transportation, import and export activities into and out of Europe, Africa and the Middle East and consist of 12 people with a broad range of skills and knowledge within supply chain, data and project management. As part the team you will be working directly with Regional Trade Compliance Lead, who acts a linking pin between our Global and Local teams with respect to existing and new import and export activities.
