    Instrument Service Supervisor - Logistics

    We are looking for a highly motivated Instrument Service Supervisor to join our logistics team at our distribution center located in Hoofddorp. You will be responsible for supervising a team of 4 people, coordinating day to day work activities and ensuring the smooth running of the team.
    The Instruments Service Logistics team supports the input and output activities associated with the Instrument Service business and work areas. Activities include daily and routine shipping and receiving of IDEXX instruments and spare parts, tracking all incoming and repaired material, assuring system (SAP) and operational readiness for the repair of instruments.

    In this Role:
    You will manage a team of instrument logistics specialists, conduct 1-1 meetings, talent assessment and development plans

    You will conduct yearly performance evaluations with direct reports and address any poor performance in collaboration with HR where necessary

    You will handle the teams holiday requests and planning and the recruitment and training of any new team members

    Will do physical work, pack, unpack instruments and spare parts and lift up to 25kgs when necessary

    You will be able to identify opportunities, obstacles, and improvements to the team

    You will review monthly results for quality, productivity, and cost, and implements corrective and preventative actions where needed.

    You will be responsible for the maintenance of Instrument Service Logistics tools and technology, requesting updates and upgrades when necessary, keeping engineers and managers informed.

    What You Will Need to Succeed:
    You will ideally have team leader or supervisory experience

    You will have effective communication skills both verbal and written with strong presentation skills for various audiences including senior management.

    You will have the ability to lead, direct and delegate and have team building and gaining commitment skills

    You will have leadership abilities to champion change, drive for results and inspire trust and credibility

    You will have excellent, effective customer service skills also organizational and people development skills for performance management

    You will have the ability to apply logic and reason to a dynamic work environment to accomplish business objectives

    You will have problem analysis and resolution skills, also excellent planning, and execution skills, with strong analytical abilities is preferred
