    Insights Marketeer

    Will you become IDH’s first growth hacker and drive how IDH can best share its data-driven insights? Then you might be our new Insights Marketeer!
    The role
    As an Insights Marketeer you represent the needs and wants of our target audience. You bring market insights in what works best when trying to influence key sector actors through collective learning and collaboration. You support leading actors in global agricultural supply chains on how they can best work with smallholder farmers, to improve the performance of their own business while also benefiting farmer livelihoods. With your experience you know how to share data and insights to drive change in companies, investors, donors and governments thinking and behavior.
    Within this role you will be part of IDH’s Intelligence Center (IC), a team working on surfacing key learnings on how to design and scale more inclusive, sustainable and commercially viable smallholder service delivery models. The team aims to translate these findings into actionable knowledge products and events that shape transformative and lasting change. The Insights Marketeer is a strong voice in the team, by driving the influencing strategy and growth hacking the reach of our knowledge products.
    In sum, the key responsibilities of this role are:

    • Drive the IC’s influence strategy, including identifying target audiences, developing personas and influence maps
    • Define and implement knowledge product and events dissemination strategies that drive awareness and behavior change within our target audience. This includes repackaging knowledge products into smaller content and thought leadership pieces that breakdown complex insights into digestible stories that stick with our target audience.
    • Regularly monitor the IC’s influence, by measuring, tracking and growth hacking the reach and uptake of our insights, and taking corrective action where necessary
    • Coordinate, and support in, the production of knowledge products
    • Lead in the design and coordination of public-facing events and dialogue e.g., webinars and in-person learning events.
    • Align internally to ensure coherence with broader organizational social media and campaign activities
    • Be the lead touchpoint for external collaborators (e.g., copy editors, graphic designers, event facilitators) and media outlets

You have a strong network in our sector and you know who the main influencers are to connect with. You are creative and an out of the box thinker that is eager to explore and test new ideas. You are constructive, critical and reflective of what we accomplish and how. You enjoy working autonomously and take ownership for your role. You are responsive and agile, able to accommodate shifting priorities from both external and internal stakeholders. Above all, you are an excellent influencer and storyteller, able to breakdown complex insights into digestible, powerful and actionable learnings that cater to different audiences.
    What you bring

    • 8+ years of relevant work experience, preferably partially in marketing
    • Proven track record in defining, implementing knowledge agenda’s
    • Demonstrated networks amongst relevant businesses, knowledge institutes and media
    • Experience in sustainability and agricultural value chains is preferred
    • Experience in working on system change and multi-stakeholder projects is preferred
    • Expertise in IT, content and communication tools including Indesign, salesforce, word press, google analytics, LinkedIn campaign management; and willingness to learn and quickly become proficient with other systems
    • Experience with design thinking and affinity for visual design
    • Excellent English in both writing and speaking

    What we offer
    IDH offers a dynamic international environment and an enthusiastic and passionate team. As an IDH team member you can contribute to positive global change. The position is for 40 hours per week. We offer a one year contract with possibility to extend, and a gross monthly salary between €4400 and €4900 (based on a 40 hour week) and solid fringe benefits, including a good pension scheme.
