As HR & Payroll officer at Bunge, you are the ‘’all-around expert’’ for most employees’ questions and requests. Besides always being accurate in checking and processing all employees’ changes such as bonus, work/life balance programs and annual salary adjustments, you are welcomed to participate in annual HR projects that support the managers and employees in improving the processes and workflows within the company.
More on your role:
You will join our Total Rewards (TR) department and report directly to the TR Manager. With the team of 3, you will be responsible for the administrative processing and control for HR and payroll related information for all employees (cca. 600) based in The Netherlands. The team works on a four-eyes principle method where processed mutations in HR systems (payroll, time & attendance, absenteeism, commuting) are always checked to confirm the preciseness of potential changes. Hereby, it is also important to mention that all 5 Dutch locations have different employment conditions and benefits, so we ought you to be ready and willing to learn.
By now, you might wonder what your targets will be in this role? Our TR team aims for excellence in 100% correct payroll, compliance with taxes & labor law, always informing our employees and management well and creating efficient workflows.
Additional responsibilities include:
Daily, you will be busy with creating contracts and confirmation letters for changes in HR & payroll data. Regularly, you will consult with HR Business Partners regarding new hires, terminations, and changes during employment. You will also handle pension administration, process sick leaves and back to work notifications in HR Systems. Occasionally, you will have the opportunity to organize an anniversary/retirement dinners and letters.
Otherwise, your task might include:
Providing the management information such as: FTE & headcount, sickness leave or overtime;
Month closing of time & attendance and commuting;
Payroll for foreign offices, in collaboration with external agencies;
Invoice administration for HR related costs (NS business cards, flowers and gift cards).

Are you the colleague we are looking for?
Besides having an excellent eye for detail, you are very accurate in your work. In your previous HR Operations & Payroll experience, you have learned a great deal on Dutch labor law and payroll legislations and have worked with institutions such as: UWV, Belastingdienst, Arbodienst, insurance companies, payroll providers and pensionfunds.
The pre’s for this role are at least 3+ years’ experience in a similar role and excellent knowledge of English and Dutch language.
Additionally, we hope you will bring a HBO ‘thinking level’ and excellent ability to work with automated HR systems (we use Visma Raet, SAP, Success Factors, Excel and other).
