About Our Client
Our client is an internationally operating logistics company that has recently opened a large warehouse (20.0000m2) in Amsterdam. From here they provide service to their clients in storage and delivery (mainly fashion companies in Amsterdam and internationally - automotive). Our client is a very dynamic organisation that is growing rapidly, they are now based in 21 countries worldwide.
As the HR officer you will be responsible for setting up the HR department together with the Managing Director NL and the Site Manager and you will be responsible for daily HR activities. Next to this you enjoy sparring with both the management in Spain and the warehouse employees on the floor. In addition, you will be involved in:
Various HR processes, such as recruitment & selection, performance & assessment, promotion and outflow
Professionalization of the HR department and all HR processes and documents, such as employee handbook, retention programme etc.
Point of contact and advisor for management in Spain about the Dutch course of events as well as point of contact for office and warehouse personnel.
Organizing training for health and safety in the workplace, experience in onboarding, compensation & benefits and leave registration, personnel mutations
Check on external payroll provider and provide information to employees that have questions
The Successful Applicant
Bachelor degree in HR or related study
Min 3 years of experience within HR department, knowledge of Dutch labor law and regulations
Proactive and selfstarter, not afraid to take on projects and build from scratch
Good and clear communication skills
An eye for detail
Flexible, good organizing and planning skills
Fluent in Dutch and good command of English (written and verbal), Spanish is considered a big plus
