    HR Intern

We're looking for an HR intern to help us improve and maintain our people operations, and to provide the best possible experience for our employees and candidates.

    Internship · Amsterdam, The Netherlands

Your internship will focus on two very important topics: candidate and employee experience. From day one, you'll get responsibilities that will assist in creating a great place to work at TNW. These tasks include all touch points of people operations within the company context, from employee life cycle (from on-boarding to exit) to learning initiatives and feedback.

Working in a fast paced environment, you'll have the opportunity to give your personal perspective on ongoing team projects and create your own. You'll also be guided by your mentor through the entire internship to get familiar with our culture and processes.

    What you will do:

    • Onboarding and offboarding of new hires; be the first friendly face to everyone who joins & help make their time at TNW as great as it can be
    • Work on employee experience projects such as a healthy work environment, cultural inclusion, and (remote) team collaboration.
    • Ensure that candidates have the best experience possible by staying in touch with the hiring teams, screening application materials, schedule and interview candidates, and help them throughout the entire hiring process
    • Take care of the office vibe & environments at our office in Amsterdam
    • Support administrative tasks and tools needed for people
    • Prepare company-wide communications in our monthly newsletters & to our employees via Slack about anything we have to share
    • Help position TNW as a great place to work, both internally and externally
    • Help plan employer branding events & help out in our flagship event, the TNW Conference <3
    • Organize team events as well as bigger and smaller initiatives to surprise our employees and make their experience at work great
    • Help to organize learning & feedback initiatives

    Your profile:

    • Creative & work smart; know that sometimes a simple solution is the best solution
    • Tech savvy with an eye for detail & respect for confidentiality
    • Passionate about people and scale-up working culture
    • Living in Amsterdam
    • Currently studying Human Resources/Work and Organizational Psychology, Psychology or similar
    • Fluent in English
    • Ideally able to start mid January/ February
    • Available for 12 months and able to work 4 or 5 days per week

    Our offer:

    • A paid internship position that helps you grow as a person and develop skills and knowledge you'll take with you in your next exciting career move
    • Flexible working hours and a relaxed, informal work atmosphere
    • Delicious fruit, snacks & Friday drinks
    • An online subscription to the Financial Times
    • Great network in tech world and possibility to attend community events at TNW
    • An inspiring workplace at TNW South, with a bar & rooftop terrace
